OnCall Health is a cloud-based medical solution designed for health care professionals across multiple specialties. The solution provides users with practice management, counseling and telemedicine functionalities along with features such as appointment management, compliance tracking, patient scheduling, personal health records and more.
OnCall Health enables users to automate administrative tasks such as scheduling, consent forms, payment processing and more. It also helps users to share files between various departments and manage the messaging interactions.
Additionally, OnCall Health complies to PHIPA and PIPEDA standards and offers users features such as custom online booking engine, branded receipts and video conferencing. Mobile applications for iOS and Android devices are also made available to users.
Services to users are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

Our overall experience has been really pleasant. I truly appreciate all of the great customer service we have received from the team and the tutorials they provided my team to make sure everyone felt at ease using this new system.
I like that the program is easy to use and navigate. There aren't too many buttons or screens so it was easy to teach the staff I am working with, without the fear of them getting lost within the program
For our purposes, it would have been really nice to have more options/ freedom to set up patient surveys. As we work in research and need our questionnaires to match as closely as the standardize way they come, having more options would have allowed us to use this option- which was a key feature as to why we decided to increase our plan, and disappointing when it didn't end up working for our purposes.

For my purposes thus far OnCall has been increasingly functional and each new development has been very welcome. I have stayed because they have been willing to negotiate pricing with me. However, if OnCall does not keep up with other platforms as my business grows, I may have to look for another platform.
Recent updates, such as roster and calendar, have made it more user friendly. I also like the video component, although I haven't used it much yet.
There are still some valuable features missing that other booking platforms have, such as the ability to upload forms myself, monthly stats output, and online booking. Also, I don't like the piece meal pricing. I would prefer to see one price for all the features, and base pricing on volume instead (like OWL Practice).
