Cadre Technologies’ Cadence WMS is a warehouse management system that integrates warehouse operations with logistics and fulfillment. It is targeted at medium to large sized enterprises in the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), 4th Party Logistics (4PL), distribution and manufacturing markets.
Cadence manages warehouse operations for businesses with multiple customers, suppliers, and warehouses. It combines supply chain visibility, order management, transportation management, activity billing and warehouse management in a single, comprehensive solution. Working in real time to deliver business critical data to staff and management, Cadence operates using mobile RF units and desktop workstations.
WMS functionality includes receiving, directed putaway, multiple picking methods, shipping, kitting, cycle counting, labor reporting, and activity billing (3PL). Additional value-ads include dock door scheduling, yard management, advanced box building, customer portal, and alerts. Cadence Data Interchange provides integration capabilities for EDI, ERP, and eCommerce (i.e. shopping carts like Shopify, Magento, Amazon, etc.).
Cadence WMS can be installed on-premise or in the cloud (Cadre Cloud).

I liked that Cadence provided a robust WMS functionality - RF receiving - Putaway - Kitting - Word Order Management - Picking and Shipping that interfaced directly into a dynamic web portal for customer order entry and visibility. The executive management down to the support staff were always available to communicate with to share ideas - support - or future enhancements. Their user group was also a perfect forum to share ideas and gain further education on the utilization of the product in various businesses.
The software is so dynamic that there are numerous tables behind the scenes that need to be configured. You must have a trained SQL administrator to manage the tables and configurations. They are easy to configure but need an experienced person to manage.
Take the time to view the system working in a live business environment - create a project plan with executive sponsorship with clear goals on its utilization. If you don't have a WMS system administrator make sure to hire one from the on set of the engagement.

This software has a great function an features. It helps me to organize the warehouse in terms of inbound and outbound of the items.

As part of the supply chain team, it gives us a better view of the logistic side because we can easily monitor the IN and OUT of the materials and even finished goods.
I don't have any issue on this software since it gives me the things I expected of it. Just want to commend the team for doing such a great software.

This helps us in monitoring our inventory. What I like the most about this software is that the team can simultaneously check the inventory and just update it real time.
As far as I remember, no issue was encountered so far and hopes it will remain the same for the next days to come.

It's very feature-rich, somewhat modern and has a solid set of integration options. Handheld scanners work well, and inventory management is logical.
Features don't always work without a lot of leg work; customer support is great for small issues, but can take forever for larger ones; some areas of the software are limited and processes are rigid.
