TSheets is a cloud-based time tracking solution that helps owners and managers keep track of employees in real-time from their web or mobile applications. It provides mobile time tracking for employees who either work remotely or change locations or jobs regularly. Employees use their own devices, such as smartphones, computers, mobile apps, text messages or landlines to clock in and out. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS. TSheets helps users set up overtime alerts for employees, which can help inform managers before overtime starts. Alerts can be sent to employees, administrators or managers via text message, email or Twitter. TSheets offers labor expense management module that reports labor expenses, including PTO, overtime and regular time. TSheets also provides customizable filters that help capture the exact timesheet information sorted by employee, project, date, group, job code and payroll period. Pricing is per user per month. Support is provided via knowledge base, phone and email.

Support is AWESOME and the Account Managers are the best. I never have to wait very long to get an answer or get a problem fixed. Just like today, the customer service rep, helped me fix an issue with the mobile app.

Vantaggi

The ease of use for time tracking and the auto-syncing with QuickBooks Online. The support from TSheets is outstanding and that is the NUMBER ONE reason I stay with TSheets.

Inconvenienti

The scheduling module is a bit lacking for some of my clients. This is why some of my clients have gone with a different solution. As soon as the scheduling is up to their standards I will get them back to TSheets

Only having one add on to QBO to do Time, Mileage and Expenses tracking/submission would be great.

Flexibility and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Syncing employees and vendors who are subcontractors with QuickBooks Online.

Inconvenienti

Expenses and Mileage tracking using GPS would be great (you're part way there with the GPS for employees). So what I like least is not having these fully developed.

Note your link to Expensify Integration "Learn more" in the add on section refers to this page: http://help.tsheets.com/knowledgebase/articles/890430 that does not load so I have no idea how it works. Can you please advise how this works.

Overall good for general timekeeping, but a little clunky when switching between jobs.

Vantaggi

Fast and Easy to set up employees. Generally, scheduling and notifying employees of shifts and changes is easy.

Inconvenienti

Employees did not find it intuitive. Management set up Quickbooks after TSheets without checking, and lots of information was lost in the transition. This is more of a failure of staff than the product, but is something that should not be dismissed.

I was in charge of several non-native english speakers, so it would be nice if there were other languages available.

Someone must be married to the owner of Quickbooks or slid a bunch of cash to them to get promoted by quickbooks the way they do... Thats some serious business love QB gave TSheets. And Honestly, it's made TSheets lame compared to many other competitors with great models.

Probably the BEST customer support I've come across. As much as I complain... they've got seriously good customer support.

Inconvenienti

Not all jobs are customer based... So, this software is limited right off the bat from any complexity.. you'll have to work around and make it work and fit your needs

time sheet editing - It is aweful to just see time worked... maybe when review timesheets... you want to see what was scheduled... late clockins, incomplete shifts, skipped lunch breaks... kinda big deal

NO HR DATA- As I said, nothing to track employee issues. Your poor employee performance won't have much info here for you to keep track of.

Not an easy way to break a shift because your employee was too lazy to c/in and out

No auto stop for shifts- one employee had 4 days until the shift stopped recording time... I wanted to see how long it would keep creating shifts.. 180 hrs and it finally stopped (and I think I accidently closed the shift)

Time sheet closure... Broken... not smooth... so many other time sheet companies do this better.

No- Shifts by job not by customer

No- Shifts by location or job site

Employee reports and to do list

ADD - ONS... those are silly. Have the functionality or don't. Add-ons seem like it'll be a charging mechanism... like QB does... so... You can see the coming of "SUBSCRIPTION" based things ... and get nickel and dimed later. Just like QB.

Overall, t-sheets has been great. When we separated from the original account to our own smaller account, the staff was super helpful. It took a little longer than we would have liked, but it was smooth and we didn't lose any time from the previous account. We were able to keep everything from the past several years.

Vantaggi

I can run everyone's time and export to excel for the boss to read it easier and track everyone's time per project. It allows me as the admin to set permissions for everyone and allow everyone to enter their own projects and disable projects that are no longer active.

Inconvenienti

I wish it was more user friendly when interfacing with Quickbooks. All of the jobs in Quickbooks are labeled according to the customer and then what the project managers want to see on their invoices. The jobs in T-sheets are labeled by state to make them easier to find and track for the engineers and easier to alphabetize when I run payroll. I am the only one that uses Quickbooks so no one except me cares that it would make my invoicing for payroll easier if I could import it and it was smart enough to match the project names whether there is an underscore or comma in the name.
